I remember way back in the year of twenty and oh-two (thanks to a memory jog by OpinionJournal) when Trent Lott tried to be “funny” and let this nugget slip at Strom Thurmonds 100th birthday party.
“You know, if we had elected this man 30 years ago, we wouldn’t be in the mess we are today.”
The backlash was incredible. Obviously it was a stupid thing to say, and while we can’t be sure of the intent, most recognize it as non-malicious…but you know what, Lott did something Kerry didn’t:
I am sorry for my words, they were poorly chosen and insensitive and I regret the way it has been interpreted. This was a mistake of the head, not of the heart because I don’t accept those policies of the past at all.
And what was Kerry’s measured response to this verbal flub?
Earlier Wednesday, Sen. John Kerry, a Massachusetts Democrat and 2004 presidential contender, became the first member of the Senate to suggest Lott was now unfit to lead the upper chamber. “It saddens me greatly to suggest this, but in the interests of the Senate, his party, and the nation, I believe Trent Lott should step aside as majority leader,” Kerry said. “I simply do not believe the country can today afford to have someone who has made these statements again and again be the leader of the United States Senate.”
I hereby think Kerry should follow his own advice…
John Kerry
Kinky Kerry’s Masters and Mistresses at the RNC risked exposing his sub-status today in order to steal the 2006 elections from the democrats.
Having trained KK, as Kerry is unaffectionately demeaned by, to spontaneously self destruct while serving in V-et-NAM he was unleashed as a RNC mole upon his adoringly democratic public. Having performed barely within his training during the 2004 election he was rewarded with having to continue his work as an RNC mole until 2008, a spanking count to 100 (per cheek) and a water boarding (15 seconds, KK is such a panty wussie).
“KK’s latest spontaneous self destructive mission was unplanned but totally effective. It is a shame that he will no longer be as effective for our use in 2008.” said Karl Rove, KK’s longtime Master.
drum-roll cymbal crash!!!
It’s a joke geeze lighten up, I was just trying to use Mr. Kerry as an illustration of how to turn potential success into certain failure. Okay, so I can’t tell a joke…

Thanks to John Ziegler from local KFI 640 AM for providing the audio.
So it’s finally happened…”Proud to Serve” John Kerry let us know what he truly thinks about American soldiers over in Iraq as he was over here in Sunny California throwing his support behind floundering Phil Angelides. We’re supporting Arnold over here…
POSSIBLY THE MOSTEST STUPIDEST
COMMENT…EVER
This is the man that we were (and may be asked to decide again) to trust with the well-being of our soldiers. This is the man who was going to show us how a military should be run, entirely based on his service for this country in Viet-nam (to get the proper em
phasis on the proper syl
lable). This is his impression of the men that currently serve the military…not a judgment of those in power, or a criticism of the current executive or legislative branch. This is a man, at his most honest. There’s only so long a man can hide his nature before he slips publicly, and disagree with George Bush as much as you want, but when it comes to supporting the men of our military…bicker as Republicans do on policy, you’d be hard pressed to find such a statement come from our side of the aisle.

UPDATE: Allah scoops me again…I beat him to the post (because my writing is far more hackey and rushed than his), but he already knew about the story, I emailed him to check (damn it)…next time my Teacher…next time.

Back in the Swing of Things
John Kerry is taking shots again…we all know that “he had a plan” which he never unveiled during the 2004 election, now he states about the Israel conflict, “If I was president, this wouldn’t have happened. ” Okay Mr. Kerry…how?
“This is about American security and Bush has
failed. He has made it so much worse because of his lack of reality in
going into Iraq.…We have to destroy Hezbollah,” he said.
I want to make sure I have this right. We shouldn’t be in Iraq, because they posed no threat to us, because they have (had) no weapons of mass destruction…but, we can destroy Hezbollah, who poses no direct threat to us, and has no weapons of mass destruction. Somebody help me out here. I know that Kerry is the master of nuances…but I miss the point where Saddam attacking and killing neighbors, means we go to the UN…Hezbollah attacking and destroying neighbors, the US needs to “destroy”. Any liberals out there who can clarify Kerry’s stance without offering you own (as y’all make me do with Bush)…he might be your candidate in ‘08.
So therefore…
