Back in the Saddle
Liberal circles around the world are bracing themselves for what they’re referring to as “The Alito Court”. The shock waves are spreading through the community…”these activists on the court” they say as they sip their various “on the rocks” drinks, “these activists may actually adhere to the constitution (*insert gasps here*) as it’s written!”
One of the biggest lies I was told in High School, was that the Constitution was a “living breathing” document that changed as the American population changed. I don’t think that’s what the founders had in mind…the way the Constitution with little room intended for interpretation.
So now we sit at the first day of a new court session. I hope a session begins where personal and property rights will be respected, and the rule of law will be enforced, not scorned.
On another note: Are you at all shocked?
