Time To Reflect
The last several months has been interesting.
I took some time off from this “Blog” to reset mental priorities, to get back in touch with why it is I started this, and why it was important for me to do this in the first place.
I think I got too into the idea of trying to logically change mind with facts and not “feelings”…which, when arguing against a leftist, is pointless. Facts mean nothing, and feelings are disposable, unless they’re your own.
Imagine a 5 paragraph insert here where I explain what I’ve discovered…blah blah blah.
I’ve spent a lot of time reading (listening) to some of the greats in my time off…so here’s my list of necessities.
1. Protein Wisdom – Jeff is a dying breed, he still fights Liberal hypocrisy as if it’s something that people might eventually acknowledge.
2. Atlas Shrugged – It’s the 1000 page discourse on why capitalism works.
3. Darkness at Noon – here’s what socialism gets you.
4. Liberal Fascism – People forget the Nazi means National Socialist…a leftist school of thought.
5. Defiant Infidel – I rarely comment, but try to read often. Thanks for the unintended up (”…But those who don’t write, frequently don’t grasp the cathartic potion.”)
6. ET – Patient, yet refrishingly ADD.
7. Dennis Prager – those who hate him, have never listened, here’s an intro course.
So I’ll be back writing as I see fit, when I see fit, about what I see fit as needing writing about.
Damn intent, damn interpretation. I done taking things personally, because if you’re insulting me instead of discussing me, then really, you’re not important enough to care about, because the inverse already seems true.
