No, no.. that would be Afghanistan or Saudi Arabia for sure dude!!!

He came here to get the protesters telling him to go to hell so he could take THAT back home.

Iran and nuclear weapons… meantime – Pakistan HAS one and they are “one of the only allies we have in the Middle East.” GOOD ONE JR!!

I know I am going to get off topic, but I have to, plus had a few Captain & 7’s. Didnt Practical Radio talk junk about the Cubs a couple months back. IT’S ON!!!

What I don’t understand is why anyone thought this would be anything but a propaganda opportunity for Iran. How does the Left simultaneously ridicule the Right for a lack of knowledge about foreign countries (remember W’s first few years in office?), and somehow miss that Iran has NO FREE PRESS? How can they miss the whole myth of the Arab strong man/hero, which the Iran president is desperately trying to be? How is it that a few lone bloggers, with real jobs, know more about this than journalists who are paid to know about it? If nothing else, the Left is wholly and completely incompetent.

Erin hearts fascist dictators, and poo-poohs people who stand up to them, because by telling them they’re wrong that affirms what they want. Fantabulous logic. Protesting and speaking truth to power is good, as long as they’re not protesting what you don’t want them to protest. Protest Bush – yes. Protest Ahmadenijad – no. That’s what I take away from this.

I am so in the mood for a Stout/Going There attack on me. Call me crazy. How is the clan? This dude is about as threatening to us as Prince Harry was in his Halloween Costume! He has no power, he’s just a figure head, and the ayatollahs are shaking in their sand crusiers that we will attack them with Israel and scarf up their Texas tea.

I thought it was grand to let him make a FOOL out of himself all over the news. I just wish the protesters werent outside, that is the propaganda he really wanted.

I don’t understand your concern, right wing. How, in your opinion, should this have carried out? Not at all? Are we, and he, to be ashamed because it happened, or because of the way it happened?

One thing I’ll never understand is ‘Americans’ who say that ‘hatemongerers’ don’t have the right to free speech. I know you’re not saying this, right wing. But depending on your answer to my above questions, it could be what I’m hearing.

Stout, don’t interpret my 2nd paragraph as me somehow being oblivious to your point in the post. I’m talking about free speech itself, nothing else. Not consequences, not our ‘freedom to ignore,’ nothing else.

I looked up CYA, and I really don’t see what a College Year in Athens has to do with this post…

Bollinger “confronted” Irans’ president?
The president of Columbia U …was in a CYA mode (look that up leftists), pure and simple. And then,having been part of the invitation sent this man– proceeded to blindside him….an insult to Iran and to many Americans that saw through this charade perpetrated by this hood ornament representing “intelligentsia” alive and well at Columbia.
We , and he , should be ashamed.
