Are You Shocked?

On a compare and contrast note…I’ve been browsing the blogs today…the major right wing ones. Hot Air, Patterico, Hugh Hewitt, Michelle Malkin…the major players…and you know what…even in the comments section…no death wishes on John Edwards or his family? Weird isn’t it. I guess wishing death on sick political adversaries (Cheney, Bush, Rumsfeld as examples) is a privilege reserved for the pacifist wing of the liberal left.

..we can certainly feel for Edwards as a husband and father. And I can speak from experience that when cancer visits a household – no matter how poor or how rich – the emotional impact on the entire family is absolutely devastating. Edwards and his three surviving children (he lost a son, Wade, in a tragic car accident) may have some rough times ahead. Let us pray that they all get through this trial and emerge healthy and happy.
Best Wishes for Mr. and Mrs. Edwards. The consensus around the hill is that while politically one might disagree with Edwards…his staff, his family, and he himself have never been anything but kind, pleasant, and understanding…but still wrong for America (*grin*)…however seldom my prayers might be these days…they’re with your family.
UPDATE: Tony Snow is in the hospital to remove a growth in his abdomen. Two years ago Mr. Snow underwent treatment for colon cancer…let’s hope nothinig is back. In addition…as Allah states:
