Putting aside the partisan romp between the sheets (that’s you Practical Radical my guilty pleasure), our mutual friend is starting to get accolades as his first short graphic novel is released this month. Blurb from Steve Duin:
Kemble has an enviable touch and a great attitude. And while this package, in black ink with a Carolina blue wash, ends with a whisper, it announces a significant young talent with bells and whistles. “Numb is better than most of the stupid comics that are given to me,” Shannon Wheeler notes in a cover blurb. I second the emotion.
It really is spectacular, and we’re all proud of him over here. So join me in congratulating his current success, and wishing him more.

Josh, you’re the type of friend that is so good at what you do, I will always refer to you as my friend when coming upon your work with any aquaintance of mine…no matter if we ever talk again. I’m proud of you and even more happy for you.
You make my passions for everything miniscule.
I totally agree with you here. It’s amazing to see someone pursuing their dreams, and succeeding…
My cubicle life isn’t quite as glamorous now…
Congratulations Josh!!! Who’d of thunk that the kid in my 7th grade class doodling on that piece of paper would get published for the very same doodling???
All I can say is WOW. I’m soooooo proud of you. And Stout: I’m even more proud of you…even with (or without) a cubicle!
