Matt Damon
Matt Damon is slowly morphing into his Team America character…intellectually that is.
I don’t think that it’s fair as I said before, that it seems like we have a fighting class in our country. That’s comprised of people who have to go for either financial reasons or — I don’t think that that is fair.
And if you’re gonna send people to war, ahh, if, if we all get together and decide we need to go to war, then that needs to be shared by everybody. You know, and if the President has daughters who are of age then maybe they should go too.
What was number two…either “financial reasons or…”, now there’s no way he was going to say something about them not being smart enough right. He already hit the poor note, he was missing talking point two…

It always tickles me when some goood ‘ol liberal from the Hollywood good ‘ol boy’s group comes out and says something bright like, say, telling the President to send his daughters. Where and when did this point become valid among the “intellectuals” (*chuckle chuckle*). Even Michael Moore did it in Fahrenheit 911…as if somehow there’s a Republican lottery machine picking children of people who disagree with the war (against their freewill of course) and throwing them on the first grenade they pass. Talking heads seem to forget that even the children of politicians have free will…as does every adult who joins the military. Some children might not even agree with their parents. What!? To throw some facts out there, there is no draft…there hasn’t been since 1973…where is my counter and quote…ahhhh, here:
The U.S. Army is stretched about as far as it can go. The Defense Department is using every measure at its disposal to maintain the military’s ranks.
- MTV’s Rock the Vote[Bush] insists that he won’t revive the draft. But the facts suggest that he will.
– Columnist Paul Krugman
Oh Paul Krugman…you’re even right on about the economy too…how do these perpetually incorrect prognosticators keeps their jobs? But I digress.
Not everyone can be Bruce Willis…who I must thank for filling the hole that Gibson left (you cut my soul Sir). Somehow this idea that the army is poor and dumb continues to pervade the perception of the average citizen, even though evidence and studies show otherwise. These actors love to push their nose into politics…oh well…Matt Damon just pissed off a lot of Marines…thank goodness he lives in the association bubble of the movie industry or he might have to come face to face with these common folk…scoff scoff scoff.
He’s an idea…the troops choose to join the military. Period. Be thankful they’re out there…protecting your right to slander them.

“Matt… Damon…” -Matt Damon
Indeed…
Arrogant two bit losers like matt damon and the gutless yellow swill of tinseltown have the blessings of our freedoms but have never did anything to uphold it or fight for it. We Am-_ ericans are damn fed up with the arro-gant do nothing misfits of Hollywood & their leftist whiners, commies and anti-American bigots! These people are nobodys and should not be commenting on anything. Its time we true Americans let them know just how much they are hated!Give em Hell!
Mr. & Mrs. Robert Pasteure are the funniest couple since Lucy & Desi and Mary & Joseph! They say things that suggest that they are in fact oblivious that the very reason they support this war and any war against our “freedom” is to protect the very rights of these Hollywood misfits!
Oh you two…I’ve never heard of you, but I’ll never forget you. Bless your hearts!
And yet you’re the only liberal that seems to get that liberals are the reason so many people in the middle east hate us.
Ironic, eh?
