Both sides are accused of seeing themselves as more “moral”. One for their Christian values, and the other just because they’re supposedly elite at something or other. I recently heard a comment, on Studio 60 (a fine show I must say), between a Christian and a secularist and it went something like this.

Secularist: Your side hates my side because you think we think you’re stupid. My side hates your side because we think you’re stupid.

Don’t know if that’s relevant, but was fun to share.

Any day a corrupt politician gets the boot, is a good day. Regardless of party lines.

Though, I must admit, it is kinda nice to see some the foundation start to crumble under the dem’s moral high ground. “He who builds his house on a foundation of sand” and such.
