I hadn't looked at it that way, and, now that I have, share said fear. I don't personally fear it, but I fear it for sakes of others. I admit that I do not know enough about their religion or it's followers, statistically and in general, to have any basis to further this argument. Fair point. My contention is that the acceptance of such radical suicidal behavior is what should truly be feared. That's why I push so hard for the condemnation of terrorist activities by the Muslim mainstream...they need to hear it's wrong, and unacceptable in modern society. The video shows nothing more than exceptions, Christian minority, trying to be as radical and fanatical as their Muslim counterparts. But though I believe the fraction is much higher between Muslim radicals vs. Christian radicals, I have to disagree with the implication that the majority of Muslims are extremists. They're merely perceived that way due to their crazies making the headlines. I agree that in no way is or will extremism be tolerated or supported by our government for any Christian cause. Yes, Bush is Christian, but you won't see him giving a speech saying a clinic bomber is a Hero. We recognize extremism here...but in areas like Palestine, martyrdom is not synonymous with extremist ideas. It's normal and accepted in many facets of the cultural mainstream.
