Who Would They Vote For
These are the Poll headlines that you know could exist if they were ever done:
97% of Terrorists Support Democrats
84% of Convicted Felons Support Democrats
78% of Illegal Immigrants Support Democrats
Now are these real statistics? No…
Could they be real? Give me a reason why they’re wrong…
We’ve had the “October Surprise” in Iraq over the last few weeks as the insurgents push again to get the Republicans out of office, as said my Michael Medved:
The only way to win wars is to convince your adversaries that further resistance is useless. Democratic victories in the House and/or Senate would help persuade Islamo-Nazi terrorists that they are, in fact, winning the war for US public opinion. No one questions that the jihadists closely monitor our domestic politics. Why else would they so conspicuously intensify their violent attacks in Iraq and Afghanistan just weeks before a crucial election? They also clearly want Democrats to win, not just because they hate Bush but because they clearly perceive the irresolution, confusion and urge to appease of the liberal faction in the current debates. Even if the Democrats resist these temptations once in power (after all, they would still face two more years of a Bush White House as a block to their more irresponsible impulses) the much-ballyhooed fact of their political triumph would greatly encourage anti-American forces everywhere and thereby prolong this war.
I understand that Democrats are not criminals and terrorists, but the fact that they are supported by the majority of these groups has to say something about the similarity of interests. Both parties seem invested in the idea of America’s defeat, when push comes to shove, all this may be rhetoric anyways. Who is the Democrat President who wants to look at the Iraqi people and leadership and say, “Sorry, we’re taking our ball and going home, good luck with the al Sadr Death Brigade…”
Remember, somewhere Christians are wearing ski masks cutting the heads off of non-believers, gays, and other religious group…morally equivelant my ass. Shut up Rosie, I’m sure your lifestyle choices would allow you the opportunity to have a high paying media job at al-Jazeera.

Amendment I
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.
And therein lies the problem. Our enemies are those who despise this freedom that our Founding Fathers died for. I think it is safe to say that anyone who despises this right is our enemy. Unfortunately, as stupid as Rosie sounded, she has a right to spew her despicable treasonous words. It is grim and disheartening to me that people with a great opportunity to reach others with their view find need to distort the truth for their own political agenda. But what can I say, it’s Hollywood, and such views and distortion are par for the course.
A real bummer happening today, a full on Reagan (went to his funeral and has a wife that is somewhere right of Attila the Hun) republican told me that he actually believes that there is moral equivalence between the Islamic-facist types and the Western religious right…perceptions, go figure.
I can understand the dhimmicratic hater cattle out there having this self loathing attitude but a Reagan republican?
I too am concerned about the influence of the Western religious right but moral equivalence with the Islamic-facist types? That is quite a reach for anyone that is paying attention to current events, has studied history and believes in the core concepts of Western culture. How does someone accomplish those 3 things and still believe in the moral equivalence of the two factions?
Think about that…There are actually Westerner’s whose perception is that a moral equivalence exists between the Western religious factions and the Islamo-facist Jihad…
SiR points out that Western secularists/Christians/Jews (I extended the guilt group to make a point) are not out there doing what the Muslims are doing to the world. Islam’s actions, beheading/bombing/rioting/facism are against all the principles secularist, religious and political that the West has. It is the West people, not the Western religious principles that are in peril here. Our whole culture for better or worse is based on Judeo/Christian principles and secularists (like it or not these are the prinicples of your WESTERN culture too) are along for the ride.

In no way should people not be allowed to say what they want…but on the same note, we are allowed to criticize them…and that’s where the disconnect is. Sheehan can call Bush a killer and terrorist, but people can’t write a book about her without her trying to stifle their free speech. These “Only I have the right to say things” lefties who shout people they disagree with down in the attempt to prevent their message from being heard. 1984 isn’t the result of a conservative movement…it’s the result of speech codes.
The only thing worth responding to here are the responses. The post itself is a joke, a hypothetical, a created argument that holds no right and wrong nor evidence to back either.
The Right Girl: If one were to say that they wanted the president murdered, that person would not be treasonous based on that fact alone. The president is not America. The president didn’t create America, didn’t cause America to become what it was when he came into office. But if spewing labels that express how you feel rather than what actually is, mislabeling fellow Americans with a vicious charge, Treason, just because you don’t agree with their opinions and words, is the equivalent to shouting fire in a crowded room where only the Rosie can be trampled on.
Truly unAmerican.
And Stout: If your implication, that righties never shout down liberals that they disagree with, is a sincere perspective of yours, then there’s no use pointing out how off the charts your heart is overriding your mind.
You wouldn’t notice.
Rosie is a nut job. I guess I am speaking from my heart. How dare I.
PR, I find it interesting that you made the statement you did. Did you actually read what Rosie said? She wasn’t attacking the president, and that wasn’t what I called treasonous.
Article III
Section 3. Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying war against them, or in adhering to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort.
I find oftentimes with Rosie, Tim, Susan, Sheehan and the rest of the “expressive” liberals, they are actually giving comfort and aid to our enemies in their “opinions” of our country. Is it not true that you could easily take the words of Rosie and transpose them with Saddam, and no one would be the wiser? Sorry, but it is true. Treason. Plain and simple. I recognize the freedom of speech that people in our country hold, but it is their very hatred of our president that leads them to commit treason.
