The Politics of It All – (A.K.A Douche)

September 12th, 2006

So I’m exhausted. I’m going to take the random approach here, and lay off of the typical 2 hours of nightly reading and writing.

So the easy target. Sean Penn. I will now take what is called the “low road”, or more commonly referred to in inner circles (or which I have one) as the “Democrat Road”. First the quote:

At the press conference, a reporter returned to the notion of Bush as a good politician, and Penn said the definition has changed — much as it has for “good actor” which now means, he said, “contest winner” (he is an Academy Award winner himself).

“So that’s the level of politician I think he’s good at,” Penn said. “Out of context, he’s Beelzebub — and a dumb one.”

Mr. Penn:

  • You do (or have done) drugs.
  • You are a wife beater
  • And you have no sense of humor
  • This is not to say George Bush has a great history, I’m just wondering which institute of higher learning you went to, and which political cabinet meetings did you sit in on to have a grasp of his intelligence, and what movie set did you study foreign policy on…maybe the Interpreter? Do you remember that one time you had a sit down with George Bush, and talked for hours, exchanging stories and anecdotes…that’s okay…it happens to the best of us…

Criticize the policies, but not the person…you ugly little gnomish featured bad smelling husk of a man (HA! See how I did that). Now go hit a reporter. As you can tell, I’m cranky…

P.S. You’re the Douche of the Week…just just ease back into it…you’re a perpetual nominee.

Snarky, even. Penn and Baldwin (even though he is brilliant on SNL) need to move to France already.

He’s a fantastic actor, I do not dispute that, and he deserves his praises in every way when it comes to on screen talent. Baldwin is second only to Walkin in his SNL appearances…but this pot calling the kettle Beelzebub is a bit…odd.
