I’ll make this concise, because I have just one question. Why did your wife not take your last name? Valerie Wilson doesn’t sound that bad. Is it a liberal, Hollywood, I want a book deal, woman independence thing…or what? I mean my wife took my last name…maybe that’s outdated? Does she at least wear the ring?

Sister Toldjah covers the news that Karl Rove intentionally and with malice leaked the name of Valerie Plame as a CIA operative to Bob Novak in a coordinated attempt to destroy Joe Wilson’s life, and the lives of the ones he loves. Wait a second…let me reread this…nope, it was Richard Armitage, and it was an accident. Crap, that means that Bush wasn’t devious and evil…or Cheney wasn’t devious and evil as he pulled on the puppet strings that control Bush.

These crazy kooky liberals, what a waste of the last few years of life.

One can’t help but wonder in the aftermath of Plame whether we’ll see the media, the CIA, the State Department, or Joe Wilson subjected to the kind of full bodied, La Brea tar pit wallowing-in-schadenfreude navel gazing we’ve come to expect from the lamestream media. On a careful ninety seconds of caffeine induced rumination, we’re inclined to think not. The odds are a few honest voices will chime in before the inevitable spin begins.

Villainous Company is right.  What we’re going to hear over the next week (if we hear much of anything), was how open minded the MSM was about all of this, and how they never judged anyone in the beginning, possibly followed by comments about how unimportant this story really was to them to begin with, followed by a latent justification about how this is still the fault of the administration anyway…riiiiiggghhttttt.
