You Know You’re a Liberal Journalist When…

You’ll protect an endangered baby turtle from birds on camera as it makes it’s way to the ocean, but you won’t do anything but take pictures as an “observer” of a terrorist killing civilians because it’s not your job to “intervene”.

It’s first funny and then sadly true… Excellent reality point, Stouty. Thank you for the link as well.
good on u SR!..and well said dude. :)
Just curious, as so many lefties tend to be: What journalist stood blithely by while watching terrorists go slaying about?
Oh, and how was this other liberal journalist risking their life by fending off the birds? Did the birds have grenade launchers? AK-47’s? Bombs attached to their bombarding bodies? If the birds only had their cawing beaks and flap-happy wings…then how do you come across comparing a life-threatening apple to harmless bullcrap?
The photographer is Joao Silva, of the New York Times. Here’s another link about the story I’m talking about. (The original being in the above editorial in a click through). Click here for another post about same story. The post was in response to a human interest story that was on the news a couple of days ago where journalists were helping endangered baby turtles in North Carolina make their trek to the ocean. The photographer story is about two months old. My comment is about the fact journalists have no moral qualms about being just a “observer” while they watch their own countrymen killed…but it’s okay to intervene on behalf of a turtle. Turtle intervention okay, human intervention, not okay. Turtle, needs protection, civilian, doesn’t need protection. It baffles me is all…
