I heart Fox News…not because of the typical “I’m a conservative they cater to me,” view, because frankly, I don’t think they do. I think they make a pretty conscious effort to remain balanced (Hannity and O’Reilly are editorialists…so don’t give me the typical “biased” crap, because at least they’re in the open about being editorialists), which leads me to Brit Hume, and the current issue being tracked by Hot Air, and the oh so sexy Mary Katherine Ham.
Currently there is legislation which is stuck in committee that Obama and Coburn put together that intends on making a searchable online database for government speding. As a classic fiscal conservative, I must admit that this gives me the figurative “half-stock”, and ultimately will help the Republican party. Of course, not necessarily all individuals in the Republican party, because they’re are some pork happy spenders out there on the right, but the left does tend to favor big government spending far more…
Anywho…I think the idea of the legislation is fantastic, and it’ll definitely be interesting to:
- Find out who is the individual holding up this process.
- Why they are holding up this process.
- If, or hopefully when, it passes, who the big spenders are.
- And if it’s such a big secret who this person is, if they’ll complain about how bad leaks are (irony much?)
It helps every voter the more open the process is.
