What, where, when? Reparations for who!
Call me zany here, but I’m of Canadian birth (yes, they do produce Conservatives), and my American mother’s side is Swedish, early 20th century…why is it my responsibility to have my tax dollars taken and given to someone else for the color of their skin? I didn’t own slaves!!! If that happens…you will have a serious class action lawsuit on your hands from every group who has been stepped on by the government in some way…there are many. I already pay enough to welfare, a percentage of which undeniably can, and refuse to, work. I pay into social security, which I probably will never see. How much of my taxes goes to entitlement policies?
Some great comments. If we do pay for reparations…does that mean we can shut down all affirmative action programs, and those racist entitlements based on skin color?
