The NY Daily News posted a story this morning about “serious plot by jihadists to bomb the Holland Tunnel “. Allahpundit makes great points and documents the further slide of the total lack of media accountability…period. Check out the Feds disappointment. I’m having problems coping with the two alternatives about the media’s current behavior. Either they really don’t care about human life if it help expose the methods and means Bush is destroying our civil liberties (people on the right call it protecting our lives), and a Pulitzer is more important…or…they’re stupid.
It doesn’t really matter when you think about it, because either solution means that these people have no qualifications to report the news…wouldn’t it be great if the media was truly an elected body (sarcasm)? I used to think that the free market is what elected news…but with the slide of the NY Times stock, it seems that free market doesn’t even dictate the MSM’s increasingly erratic behavior.
